It’s Not Fair

I try to be positive, even with all the terrible news reports, the failing economy and the losing battle with government and big business over pesticides in our food. One way I keep positive it to do what I can in my family to “fix” what I can.

To stay positive and keep spirits up, I try to remember to smile. Too many people are walking around with so much on their minds that they forget to smile. Even when I am having a particularly stressful day, I will try to smile and interject something light into a conversation.

Also remember to laugh. Find someone to share a good moment with, tell a joke or watch a comedy. Laughter is good medicine. We relax when we are laughing and that means less stress and less inflammation.

To keep your day upbeat, here are some positive thoughts:

“The only place where your dream becomes impossible is in your own thinking.” – Robert H Schuller

“Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.” – Tony Robbins

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.” – Confucius

“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

For I know the plans1 I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper2 you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.3 – Jeremiah 29:11

“And we know that in all things God works for the good1 of those who love him,a whob have been called2 according to his purpose”.3 Romans 8:28

Have a blessed day and may you be graced by someone else’s smile.

How do you keep a positive attitude?

  1. I agree with you Gisele. I know when others around me are negative, I tend to get negative. I respond to a smile and need to remember everyone need to keep a positive attitude as much as possible.

    • Thank you for your comment AngieL88. Sometimes a bad mood or a sad time can be lifted by someone’s kind words and a smile, if even for a short while.

    • Sorry for the late reply, still learning how a blog works. Thank you for your reply. Glad to hear that you are noticing negative people and try to reverse the trend.
